Our Office

Dr. Kawahara and Dr. Yamamoto operate out of a free standing certified surgery center.  Our facility is both AAAHC (The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care) accredited and Medicare certified. It is the only such certified facility specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the South Bay area.  We have a state of the art operating room, staffed by registered nurses, complete with a crash cart, emergency power, and independent operating room ventilation.  We do everything we can to ensure the safety of all who visit our office.  We meet and exceed all infection control standards established by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Medicare Certified Ambulatory Surgery Centers.  We have strived to maintain high standards for all of the years that we have been operating as a surgery center to ensure a clean environment for each patient for even what some may consider routine dental or implant procedures.  HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards are strictly adhered to, protecting your rights and safety.
